Job summary

Harmattan AI seeks a Global Sourcing Manager Electronics to lead procurement for PCBs, PCBAs and wire harnesses, building resilient supplier networks for high‑tech defense hardware. You will drive RFIs/RFPs, negotiate terms, and partner cross‑functionally with engineering and production to optimize cost, quality and schedule while derisking the electronics supply chain.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical discipline
• 6+ years in electronic commodities sourcing
• Advanced TCO modeling capability
• Strong cross-functional leadership
• Defense/aerospace or high-reliability exposure preferred

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute long-term category roadmaps for PCBs, PCBAs, and cable harness assemblies
• Direct RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and strategic sourcing campaigns
• Act as primary relationship owner for Contract Manufacturers and specialized board/fabricators
• Collaborate with hardware engineering to refine designs and guide investments
• Evaluate supplier quotes using granular cost breakdowns and TCO models
• Draft and settle commercial agreements with favorable pricing and terms
• Support rapid prototyping and hardware milestones, resolving bottlenecks
• Provide progress updates to executive leadership
• Establish vendor evaluation systems tracking quality, cost and innovation
