Harmattan AI is seeking a senior hardware engineer to own end-to-end electronics design for mixed-signal and RF boards, from schematics to production. You will optimize for cost, reliability, and manufacturability while bridging hardware and firmware with a small autonomous team.

Responsibilities include schematic design, PCB layout, BOM optimization, bring-up and debug, EMC/RF compliance, and close collaboration with embedded software and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration.

Formación

• Senior hardware engineer with PCB design experience.
• Experience designing and shipping complex PCBs for production.
• Ability to bridge hardware and firmware in a small autonomous team.

Responsabilidades

• Design complete schematics for mixed-signal/RF boards from power to digital.
• Lead PCB layout and routing with signal integrity and RF constraints.
• Select components with cost, availability and reliability in mind.
• Lead hardware bring-up and debug with bench equipment.
• Address EMC challenges; ensure RF performance and impedance matching.
• Collaborate with embedded software to define hardware interfaces.
• Coordinate with mechanical for enclosure integration and thermal management.
• Qualify PCB manufacturers and support NPI transitions.
• Maintain documentation: schematics, layouts, test procedures.
