Job summary

Bank of China Paris Branch is seeking a Relationship Manager for Financial Institutions coverage to expand the branch's institutional client franchise across France, Europe, and Francophone Africa. You will coordinate with internal product teams to originate and execute funding, liquidity management, RMB products, and cross-border financing solutions.

The role requires fluency in English and French, with Mandarin as a strong plus, and at least 5 years of experience in institutional banking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Institutions coverage within the banking or financial services sector.
• Fluency in English and French; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of institutional banking products, European financial markets and banking regulations.
• Proven experience in client origination and relationship management, ideally with banks, central banks or asset managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with Financial Institution clients across France, Europe and Francophone Africa.
• Originate financial solutions by coordinating with internal product teams.
• Develop institutional funding sources and liquidity management strategies.
• Promote RMB internationalization through RMB products and cross-border offerings.
• Coordinate cross-border loans, trade finance, derivatives and debt capital market transactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, KYC/AML, and internal policies.
• Monitor European and Francophone African markets and macroeconomic trends to identify opportunities.
