AeroVect Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to design and implement cutting-edge planning systems for autonomous driving in structured, low-speed environments.

You will own the mission, behavior, and motion planning components for airside ground support equipment, establishing architecture and driving production-ready solutions. You will collaborate across perception, controls, localization, and systems engineering, mentor peers, and promote safety-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, EE, ME, Robotics, Physics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing planning modules for autonomous systems shipped to production or deployed in real-world operations.
• Strong programming skills in C++ (preferred) or Python and Linux experience.
• Ability to take ambiguous technical problems and drive them to well-architected solutions independently.
• Excellent communication, proactiveness, and ownership.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and iterate on mission, behavior, and motion planners for autonomous ground support equipment in airport airside environments.
• Drive key technical decisions across the planning stack, define interfaces and architecture.
• Prototype and evaluate planning approaches; bring best ideas to production.
• Collaborate with perception, controls, localization, and systems engineering to deliver integrated autonomous system.
• Mentor engineers through guidance, code review, and design discussions.
