AeroVect Technologies Inc. in Paris is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own core areas of the localization stack and drive production-ready localization across real hardware at active airports.

You will own LiDAR-inertial-GNSS state estimation, 3D mapping, and sensor calibration, and collaborate with perception, planning, and platform teams to scale autonomous ground operations. The role demands 8+ years in robotics, deep multi-sensor fusion expertise, and a track record of leading

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles with ownership of localization or state-estimation systems in production on real hardware.
• Deep practical grounding in multi-sensor fusion and state estimation across LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, and cameras.
• Strong command of non-linear optimization (Ceres, GTSAM, g2o) and/or filtering (EKF, UKF).
• Solid C++17+ and Linux/ROS/ROS2 experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of core areas of the localization stack and drive them to production reliability on real hardware at active airports.
• Contribute across the localization and mapping pipeline from sensor integration, regression testing, and deployment to new environments.
• Help design online validation monitoring localization integrity and cross-sensor consistency during live missions and integrate with safety architecture.
• Develop tooling for diagnostics, health logging, and post-mission analysis across the stack.
• Contribute to release-gating approaches for localization changes deployed at airports.
• Deploy, test, and iterate using data from real autonomous operations.
