AeroVect, a Series A company focused on autonomous ground handling, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement behavior planning systems for autonomous vehicles in airside environments. You will own modules in the behavior planner, bridging mission goals with motion-level execution, and work with the autonomy engineering team.

Ideal candidates have strong C++ (11/14/17) and Python skills, experience with ROS/ROS2, and a solid background in state machines, BTs, and path planning

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in autonomous driving, robotics, or related field.
• Proficient in modern C++ (11/14/17) and Python.
• Experience with behavior planning algorithms and path planning methods.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement advanced behavior planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust integration of planning systems.
• Design, write, and maintain efficient and scalable code in C++ and Python.
• Contribute to architecture and continuous improvement of behavior planning software.
• Conduct extensive testing in simulated environments and real-world scenarios to validate planning algorithms.
• Analyze system performance and implement enhancements based on data and feedback.
• Maintain documentation of code, algorithms, and system designs.
• Work with other engineering teams to ensure seamless development.
