bsport invites a Staff Backend Software Engineer to shape the Core data platform and engineering foundations. You will own the core data models, contribute to the AI-native semantic layer, and drive scalable, secure architecture across product teams while maintaining high standards for reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with Backend, Data, DevOps, Product, and leadership to align on technical decisions, mentor engineers, and push bsport toward AI-native engineering, with hands-on

Qualifications

• Extensive backend engineering experience with Python; Django is a plus.
• Experience designing distributed systems at scale serving millions of users.
• Ability to lead multi-team technical initiatives without formal authority.
• Strong English communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Drive technical strategy and architecture for Core services.
• Own cross-team technical problems from framing to implementation.
• Set architectural direction and establish patterns across multiple teams.
• Balance short-term needs with long-term technical sustainability.
• Raise the engineering bar through reviews, documentation, and hands-on contributions.
• Mentor engineers and improve ownership and learning culture.
• Improve reliability and observability with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and Sentry.
• Contribute to stack decisions (Django, PostgreSQL, AWS, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
