Job summary

Vestas France is seeking a field service operator role in Ruffec to maximize turbine capacity across wind farms. You will conduct periodic inspections and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic teammates to uphold safety standards while achieving service targets.

You will engage with customers, report to the Area Supervisor, and advance through service operator levels, supported by secure field equipment and protective measures.

Qualifications

• Technical English knowledge (written/oral)
• Familiar with MS Office Suite

EVP MED / Region MED / Area Site Management Ruffec

Your mission will be to optimize our client’s wind farms during their life cycle, ensuring the maximum capacity of the wind turbines

Responsibilities

You will have a key role in ensuring the loyalty of our customers over the long term. Working in pairs, you will report to the Area Supervisor and will be responsible for:

• Carrying out periodic service inspections in accordance with Vestas' specifications alongside both electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics.
• Supporting and establishing a constructive and professional relationship with the customers, the various members of the regional team (technician, planner, storekeeper, etc.) in the Vestas sites.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met

Qualifications

• Youth Training (NVQ Level 1,2), BTEC First Diploma or High-School Degree with experience in technical fields (maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics...) desired
• Knowledge of technical English (written/oral) and familiar with the Office Pack.

Competencies

• Autonomous, results-oriented, good communication skills, team spirit.
• Mobility required (travels expected), commitment to safety, ability to work at height.
