The European Space Agency in Paris, France is seeking a Technology R&D Support Engineer to join the service team at ESA HQ. You will support technology and innovation activities, manage ideas, improve processes, and develop automation and reporting solutions to advance new concepts.

You will apply your space systems engineering background and programming skills (Python) to create automation, integrate data from multiple sources, and contribute to communications, training, and dissemination

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a space science or engineering discipline with at least 4 years of professional experience.
Strong background in space systems engineering, with programming and automation skills (e.g. Python) and an interest in innovation activities.
Knowledge of web applications, automation tools, and scripting languages such as Python.
Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

Support ESA’s technology and innovation activities, collaborating with experts to manage ideas, improve processes, and develop automation and reporting solutions.
Develop automation, reporting, and workflow solutions, including Power BI analytics and data integration from multiple sources.
Contribute to stakeholder communication through web tools, training materials, documentation, and dissemination activities.
Monitor and drive OSIP campaigns and channel management activities, coordinating evaluations and capturing lessons learned.
