Résumé du poste

CS GROUP, basé à Paris, recherche un ingénieur sustainability pour soutenir les programmes ESA et leurs stratégies environnementales dans un cadre international.

Vous participerez à la mise en œuvre de l’éco-conception, des évaluations LCA et du reporting ESG, tout en coordonnant les parties prenantes et en assurant le suivi des KPI. Le poste exige un diplôme en ingénierie, 4 à 6 ans d’expérience et une très bonne maîtrise de l’anglais; une connaissance d’autres langues serait un atout.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (ou équivalent) en ingénierie ou domaine connexe.
  • Minimum de 4–6 années d’expérience professionnelle.
  • Connaissance du reporting de durabilité, comptabilité des gaz à effet de serre, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) et cadres ESG.
  • Connaissance et expérience en Sustainability Engineering (Clean Space, Zero Debris, Eco-Design, Space Circular Economy, Active Debris Removal, In-Orbit Servicing).
  • Connaissance des réglementations environnementales telles que REACh et RoHS.
  • Maîtrise de l’anglais obligatoire ; connaissance d’une autre langue européenne appréciée.

Responsabilités

  • Soutenir le développement et la mise en œuvre des stratégies de durabilité pour les programmes ESA.
  • Coordonner les évaluations et études de durabilité ex-ante et ex-post avec les directions et les parties prenantes.
  • Contribuer au déploiement de la politique d’éco-conception de l’ESA, y compris les méthodologies d’ACV et outils.
  • Soutenir la gestion du changement, les communications et les activités de sensibilisation à la durabilité dans l’Agence.
  • Coordonner l’évaluation annuelle des émissions GHG, analyser les résultats et soutenir les outils et le reporting.
  • Soutenir le Green Agenda PMO par la planification, le reporting, le suivi des risques et la coordination des parties prenantes.
  • Coordonner la préparation et la publication du Rapport CSR de l’ESA, en assurant l’alignement avec les normes internationales.
  • Gérer les consultations des parties prenantes et maintenir le cadre d’évaluation de matérialité.
  • Soutenir les activités liées au FFPA, et coordonner avec les directions ESA, Commission européenne et EUSPA.
  • Organiser les réunions EPWG et les activités associées.
  • Contribuer à l’ESG Transformation Initiative, avec le suivi des KPI et le reporting.
  • Soutenir les évaluations environnementales des achats majeurs de l’ESA.

Job Description

As part of the team you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies for ESA programmes, including sustainability assessment methodologies and maturity frameworks.
  • Coordinate ex-ante and ex-post sustainability evaluations and studies in collaboration with programme directorates and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the deployment of ESA’s eco-design policy, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies, working groups, and sustainability tool development.
  • Support change management, communications, and awareness activities promoting sustainability across the Agency.
  • Coordinate the annual greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions assessment, analyse results, identify improvement opportunities, and support the deployment of reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Support the Green Agenda Project Management Office through planning, reporting, risk monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and performance tracking.
  • Coordinate the preparation and publication of ESA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, ensuring alignment with relevant international standards.
  • Manage stakeholder consultations and maintain ESA’s materiality assessment framework.
  • Support activities related to the Financial Framework Partnership Agreement (FFPA), including reporting, coordination with ESA directorates, the European Commission, and EUSPA.
  • Organise and support Environmental Protection Working Group (EPWG) meetings and related activities.
  • Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of ESA’s ESG Transformation Initiative, including KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Support environmental assessments of major ESA procurements, providing life-cycle impact evaluations and sustainability recommendations to support decision-making.
Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, ora related field;
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience;
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas accounting, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and ESG frameworks;
  • Knowledge and experience in Sustainability Engineering topics (Clean Space, Zero Debris, Eco-Design, Space Circular Economy, Active Debris Removal, In-Orbit Servicing);
  • Knowledge and experience with environmental regulations, such as REACh and RoHS;
  • Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
