Houlihan Lokey in Paris is seeking a six-month internship with the Sovereign Advisory team to support ongoing mandates and business development efforts.

Interns assist with macro-financial analyses, market updates, financial modelling (debt sustainability and restructurings), and preparation of client materials while gaining exposure to public- and private-sector stakeholders.

Fluency in English is required; French and Spanish skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• A strong academic record.
• Prior professional experience in finance and/or economics, ideally with exposure to sovereign or public-sector-related topics.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal (fluency in English is required; proficiency in French and Spanish is highly valued; Arabic or Russian would be an additional asset)
• A genuine interest in emerging markets and public-sector-related issues
• The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, combined with a strong work ethic

Responsabilités

• Supporting ongoing advisory mandates and team initiatives, and preparing materials for business development.
• Carrying out macro-financial analyses and market updates to inform client discussions.
• Supporting financial modelling (including debt sustainability analyses and restructuring models).
• General research in support of advisory activities and day-to-day operational support to the team.
