Maersk is seeking a Solution Design Engineer to help establish the Contract Logistics capabilities in Europe. You will be a key driver for growth using your operational experience and strong analytical approach to act as the subject matter expert on designing and solutioning warehouse/cold store proposals supporting the local sales organizations to win large scale opportunities.

In this role you’ll design warehousing solutions, including layouts, resource calculations, IT requirements and costs

Qualifications

• Significant experience in international supply chains.
• Data-driven approach with translating data into solutions.
• Strong knowledge of contract logistics operations and warehousing tech.
• Numerate, financially astute with logistics process knowledge.
• Collaborative in a matrix, multi-cultural organisation.

Responsabilités

• Design warehousing solutions including layouts, resource calculations and IT requirements.
• Develop logistics concepts and value propositions for opportunities.
• Ensure the value propositions are fully scoped with cross-functional teams.
• Engage proactively in the sales process to support area sales.
• Share market and product knowledge with stakeholders and colleagues.
• Act as a centre of excellence, sharing best practices across Europe.
