Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master’s degree (M1 or M2) in software engineering or computer science for a 6-month internship.
• First hands-on development experience through internship, academic project, apprenticeship, or personal project.
• Solid understanding of frontend development and object-oriented programming concepts.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to frontend development and production app UI improvements.
• Support backend work by participating in API design and development with the team.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver solid, user-centric features.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and actively contribute to the team roadmap.

1. The Team You'll Join

You'll be part of our Mirakl Labs Financial Services squad, based in Paris. The team is structured as a cross-functional Squad composed of a Senior Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, Software Engineers and a QA engineer. You'll be mentored by Wael Osmani, Software Engineer. You’ll join a team that builds and ships the core product features powering some of the world’s most ambitious marketplace platforms, with a particular focus on financial services capabilities.

2. Your Impact

• Contribute to the development and evolution of a production application, primarily on the frontend — from UI implementation to user experience improvements
• Support backend work by participating in API design and development, collaborating closely with the engineering team
• Work hand-in-hand with UX/UI designers to deliver features that are both technically solid and user-centric
• Take part in agile rituals — stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives — and contribute actively to the team's roadmap
• Monitor and take ownership of your contributions in production, following a you build it, you run it mindset

3. What You'll Bring to the Role

Experience:

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree (M1 or M2) in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, and looking for a 6-month internship
• First hands-on development experience through an internship, academic project, apprenticeship, or personal project
• Solid understanding of frontend development and object-oriented programming principles

Skills:

• Familiarity with Java for backend and API development
• Curiosity for clean code, software quality, and working on production-grade applications
• A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine drive to learn
• Front-end: ReactJS
• Tooling & Practices: CI/CD, Git, Docker, Monitoring

5. Languages

• French: Fluent
• English: Professional proficiency (written and spoken)

Our Hiring Process
