Mirakl in Paris is offering a 6-month internship focused on frontend development within our Financial Services squad. You will contribute to the production application, primarily on the frontend, and collaborate with backend engineers to design robust APIs.

The role requires a Master's student (M1 or M2) in software engineering or CS, with hands-on projects; proficiency in React or Angular and Java knowledge. You will join a cross-functional team and participate in agile rituals.

• Pursuing a Master's degree in software engineering or CS and seeking a 6-month internship.
• Hands-on development experience from internships, academic projects, apprenticeships, or personal projects.
• Solid understanding of frontend development and OO programming principles.

1. The Team You'll Join

You'll be part of our Mirakl Labs Financial Services squad, based in Paris. The team is structured as a cross-functional Squad composed of a Senior Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, Software Engineers and a QA engineer. You'll be mentored by Wael Osmani, Software Engineer. You'll join a team that builds and ships the core product features powering some of the world's most ambitious marketplace platforms, with a particular focus on financial services capabilities.

2. Your Impact

• Contribute to the development and evolution of a production application, primarily on the frontend — from UI implementation to user experience improvements

• Support backend work by participating in API design and development, collaborating closely with the engineering team

• Work hand-in-hand with UX/UI designers to deliver features that are both technically solid and user-centric

• Take part in agile rituals — stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives — and contribute actively to the team's roadmap

• Monitor and take ownership of your contributions in production, following a *you build it, you run it* mindset

3. What You'll Bring to the RoleExperience

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree (M1 or M2) in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, and looking for a 6-month internship

• First hands‑on development experience through an internship, academic project, apprenticeship, or personal project

• Solid understanding of frontend development and object-oriented programming principles

Skills

• Proficiency or strong interest in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, and in JavaScript/TypeScript

• Familiarity with Java for backend and API development

• Curiosity for clean code, software quality, and working on production‑grade applications

• A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine drive to learn
