Mirakl is seeking a Master’s student for a 6‑month internship in Paris, joining Mirakl Labs Financial Services squad. You’ll contribute to frontend development of the production application, focusing on UI improvements and user experience.

You’ll collaborate with backend/API work and UX/UI designers, participate in agile rituals, and learn production‑grade practices while working with a modern stack (ReactJS, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL).

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (M1 or M2) in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, and looking for a 6‑month internship.
• First hands‑on development experience through an internship, academic project, apprenticeship, or personal project.
• Solid understanding of frontend development and object‑oriented programming principles.
• Proficiency or strong interest in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, and in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Java for backend and API development.
• Curiosity for clean code, software quality, and working on production‑grade applications.
• A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine drive to learn.

Responsabilités

The Team You'll Join

You’ll be part of our Mirakl Labs Financial Services squad, based in Paris. The team is structured as a cross-functional Squad composed of a Senior Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, Software Engineers and a QA engineer. You’ll be mentored by Wael Osmani, Software Engineer. You’ll join a team that builds and ships the core product features powering some of the world’s most ambitious marketplace platforms, with a particular focus on financial services capabilities.

Your Impact

• Contribute to the development and evolution of a production application, primarily on the frontend — from UI implementation to user experience improvements.


• Support backend work by participating in API design and development, collaborating closely with the engineering team.


• Work hand‑in‑hand with UX/UI designers to deliver features that are both technically solid and user‑centric.


• Take part in agile rituals — stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives — and contribute actively to the team's roadmap.


• Monitor and take ownership of your contributions in production, following a you build it, you run it mindset.
