AGL Group in France seeks a Shipbroker M/F to join the Shipping Department at our Puteaux headquarters. The role focuses on dry cargo brokering, spot and time charter negotiations, and expanding the client portfolio with a proactive, results-driven approach.

You will leverage an established network in the shipping sector, manage key accounts, and pursue opportunities in project and breakbulk segments while delivering targeted financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in shipping as dry-bulk shipbroker with existing client portfolio.
• Strong network within the shipping industry.
• Experience in project and breakbulk segments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dry cargo brokering including spot, time charter, and COA negotiations.
• Consolidate and expand company customers' portfolio.

In this context, we offer a position of Shipbroker M/F in our shipping Department at our Headquarters in Puteaux (France- 92).

Objectives

• Consolidate and increase customers portfolio on dry-bulk market.
• Increase turnover/operational result of the entity.
• Identify development opportunities on other market segments

Main duties

• Dry cargo brokering. Spot/time charter/ COA negotiations.
• Consolidate and expand company customers' portfolio.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop projects.
• Achieve target income for the company in line or beyond assigned financial objectives.

Profil

• + 10 years in shipping industry as dry-bulk shipbroker with own customers portfolio.
• Established network with the shipping industry.
• Experience within the Project and Breakbulk segment is a plus.
• Fluent English (written/verbal).
• Clients' management / building relationships / Interpersonal skills.
• Good ability to communication and negotiations.
• Ability to solve problems and seek for solutions.
• Entrepreneurial nature with strong personal drive to succeed.
