Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Senior Voxel Artist based in France. You will shape stylized game worlds by transforming geometry into expressive assets, collaborating with directors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver production-ready content.

You’ll own voxel styling across characters, creatures, props, and environments while exploring new approaches to extend voxel aesthetics in a remote-first setting with international partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game art, voxel art, or related discipline.
• Outstanding voxel art portfolio demonstrating high-quality visuals.
• Excellent understanding of silhouettes, proportions, color theory, and composition.
• Proficiency in voxel tools such as MagicaVoxel or Blockbench.
• Ability to create assets and cohesive collections with a consistent style.
• Experience creating assets for real-time game engines.
• Fluency in English for collaboration and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality voxel characters, creatures, environments, props, and stylized assets.
• Develop distinctive visual styles with strong silhouettes and color palettes.
• Translate concepts into production-ready voxel assets.
• Maintain consistent voxel art principles across assets and worlds.
• Collaborate with art directors, concept artists, and technical artists.
• Optimize assets for real-time game development.
