Tara Gaming seeks a Senior Tools Programmer to design, develop, and optimize tools that accelerate our AAA action‑adventure pipeline. You will collaborate with designers, artists and programmers to improve workflows and tooling quality.

You will mentor junior programmers, drive best practices, and lead tool initiatives using C#, WPF, C++, and scripting languages to deliver robust editor and asset tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Tools Programmer within the game development industry.
• Strong proficiency in C#, WPF, C++, and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Lua).
• Demonstrable experience in developing a variety of tools for game development pipelines (e.g., asset management, build systems, content creation tools, editor extensions).
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen eye for optimizing workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively gather requirements and provide solutions to diverse team members.
• Nice to have experience with Unreal Engine 5 (e.g., custom editor tools, Blueprint extensions).
• Familiarity with AAA action-adventure game development pipelines and challenges.
