Jobgether seeks a Senior Software Engineer (YDB Team) in France to develop and optimize a high-performance distributed storage platform. You will work on low-latency C++ components, profiling, and optimization for AI and cloud workloads.

You will collaborate with international engineers, own features end-to-end, and contribute to open-source code. A hands-on role focused on performance, reliability, and scalability in production environments.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years of experience in C/C++ for performance-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of low-level systems concepts like CPU caches and NUMA.
• Experience with profiling, debugging, and diagnosing production issues.
• Familiarity with on-disk data structures (LSM/B+ trees) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux kernel-related tech (SPDK/DPDK/io_uring) is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize YDB components to leverage modern hardware.
• Improve performance across storage technologies including NVMe devices.
• Design high-performance, low-latency software for production systems.
• Analyze system behavior to identify bottlenecks using profiling techniques.
• Collaborate across infrastructure, storage, networking, and AI teams.
• Contribute to open-source code and participate in design discussions.
• Own engineering challenges from investigation to deployment.
