Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Capacity and Quota Management) based in France to join a high-impact engineering team. You will design and evolve the control plane that allocates compute resources across a large-scale AI cloud platform, covering GPU reservations and quota management across services.

You will tackle distributed-systems challenges and influence architecture and platform evolution in an international, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in backend or distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Python, or the ability to learn the stack quickly.
• Proven experience designing and building distributed backend systems and microservice architectures.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and evolve the Capacity and Quota Management control plane.
• Build and maintain a capacity reservation engine for GPU reservations.
• Improve resource rebalancing and automated reclamation to maximise utilisation while meeting commitments.
• Develop the Quotas Control Plane for quotas across multiple services.
• Design and implement resource distribution algorithms balancing capacity, needs, and constraints.
• Develop reliable APIs for external and internal users to monitor and control allocations.
• Solve distributed-systems challenges involving transactions, consistency, and reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term platform evolution.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Take ownership to improve reliability, scalability, and operational performance.
