Job summary

NXP Semiconductors France in Caen seeks a Systems & Applications Engineer to support customers using wireless connectivity products that operate above 50 GHz and include multi-gigabit high-speed interfaces. You will validate products, build demos, write technical documents and help customers integrate our solutions.

You will work on evaluating kits and customer platforms, build demo setups and run measurements, while contributing to training and field support.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in applications, systems, validation or hardware engineering.
• Working knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as USB or DisplayPort.
• Interest in RF and mmWave technology.
• Hands-on lab experience. Python scripting is a plus.
• Good English. Willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support customers during evaluation, design-in and debugging.
• Validate product performance on evaluation kits and customer platforms.
• Build and maintain demo setups and evaluation boards.
• Help write application notes, user guides and quick-start guides.
• Run lab measurements and report results.
• Support training, customer visits and trade show demos.
