GitGuardian is seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps engineer to own the self-hosted infrastructure and release processes. You will design and maintain on-premise Kubernetes solutions, ensure reliability and security, and automate deployments for enterprise customers.

You will collaborate with a small team, engage with customers when needed, and contribute to product deployments while promoting DevOps best practices across engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, Platform Eng, or related area.
• Strong experience building self-hosted Kubernetes deployments (on-prem).
• Expertise Kubernetes prod admin, Helm, and Docker.
• Familiarity with OpenShift or Rancher is a plus.
• Observability experience (Grafana) and incident handling.
• Experience deploying apps on Kubernetes across clouds (AWS/GCP/OVH).
• Strong CI/CD knowledge (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Customer-facing; able to join customer calls.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Nice-to-have Chainguard Docker images; k3s exposure.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and administer Self-hosted infra; adapt to customer infra.
• Ensure high quality, reliability, and security of self-hosted releases; incident management.
• Enhance the release process with automation and quality checks.
• Improve releases for observability and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and improve GitLab CI infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain infra for developers' test environments (review apps).
• Help engineering teams create and maintain new self-hosted services.
• Contribute to new product deployments.
• Advocate DevOps best practices to engineering teams.
• Provide Level 3 customer support, including occasional calls.
