Job summary

Algolia seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (IC4) to strengthen scalable infrastructure with emphasis on CI/CD, observability, and hosting. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams to raise reliability and performance of our Search products.

You will bridge gaps between junior and senior staff while guiding modernization from legacy systems to Kubernetes-based architectures, ensuring cost efficiency and high availability.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Golang and Python, Ruby a plus.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Proven Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure management experience.
• Distributed systems design, reliability, and performance focus.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading initiatives.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD development and maintenance to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency.
