Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in Paris is seeking a Solutions Consultant to advance the Sales Engineering role by guiding customers through their security transformation journey and aligning technical strategy with business outcomes.

You will define technical solutions across on‑prem, cloud, and security operations, demonstrate value to stakeholders, and collaborate with Services, Success and Specialists to ensure adoption.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre‑sales/sales engineering.
• Experience in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
• Influencing and gaining buy‑in from key stakeholders; prior pre‑sales experience ideal.
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Travel for in-person customer meetings; discuss specifics with recruiter.
• Proficient in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales quotas with strategic, technical account plans.
• Position and demonstrate high-level designs across PANW portfolio.
• Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform.
• Conduct discovery to understand customer imperatives.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialists to ensure adoption of solutions.
• Lead technical validation efforts to win opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure a one-team approach.
• Promote end-to-end solutions including services to realize value faster.
• Understand competitive landscape and differentiate PANW.
• Invest in skills and participate in SC community and events.
• Identify technical stakeholders and build security-architecture roadmap.
