AQEMIA is looking for an Engineering Manager for its Compute team in Paris. Your role will involve leading a team of engineers to develop and scale the compute platform for scientific simulations and machine learning workloads. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in cloud-native applications.

This position requires strong leadership abilities, a solid background in software architecture, and excellent communication skills. AQEMIA offers flexibility with up to two remote days per week from our prime location in Paris.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, including experience building production systems at scale.
• Strong experience delivering distributed systems, cloud-native applications or compute-intensive platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering, scientific and business stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Software Engineers through regular feedback.
• Partner with Product, Staff Engineers and Engineering Leadership to define priorities.
• Drive high engineering standards across architecture, testing, observability, reliability and maintainability.
