LV8D Solutions is seeking a Communications Systems Engineer acting as a Security Control Assessor to provide onsite SETA services for a government program. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and experience in space, network, and crypto systems.

Travel up to 25% domestically is expected, with duties spanning acquisition support, RMF processing, and technical briefings to government and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with RMF (Risk Management Framework) and information security policies.
• Understanding of space communication, network, and crypto systems.
• Experience with government satellite systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsabilités

• Support acquisition planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight for communication, network, and crypto acquisitions.
• Conduct independent assessments of security controls; support RMF processing and reporting.
• Develop documents and briefings for government and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate with COTRs and SMEs to maintain contract documentation.
• Review CDRL deliverables for content, accuracy, and sufficiency.
• Participate in program reviews and technical interchange meetings.

Formation

Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field

9+ years of experience for Bachelor's

7+ years with Master's

4+ years with Post-Doctoral/PhD/JD
