LV8D Solutions is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to provide onsite SETA support for a government program in Chantilly, VA. You will coordinate across engineering divisions to acquire space systems that enhance the government’s space resiliency and work with a System Program Office in a contractor environment.

An active TS/SCI clearance with Poly is required. The role demands strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to travel as

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering or similar field with nine+ years experience; Masters with seven+ years; PhD/JD with four+ years.
• Experience in systems integration and systems engineering.
• Experience using SE processes, methods, and tools for satellite systems.
• Experience with space radar payload design, development, manufacturing, and testing.
• Experience with radar system design, operations, and data processing.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of system level requirements for assigned systems and the design features that satisfy these requirements.
• Develop documents and briefings to communicate work status; briefs to government and industry as required.
• Support full lifecycle engineering reviews to demonstrate design meets specifications and customer requirements.
• Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables for content and technical accuracy.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings between developers and contractors.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and review technical reports, design artifacts, and program plans.
• Serve as a system engineering liaison to other divisions in the SPO.
