LV8D Solutions seeks a Communications Systems Engineer to serve as a Network Intrusion Specialist for a government program in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on on-site systems engineering and technical advisory across satellite, network, and crypto acquisitions.

Qualified candidates have advanced security clearances (TS/SCI with poly), strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with nine or more years of experience, or Master's with seven or more years, or PhD/JD with four or more years.
• Experience in space communication, network, and crypto systems design, development and testing.
• Experience with RMF and information security policies and standards.
• Experience with government satellite systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.

Responsabilités

• Support the SPO in acquisition planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight for communications, networks, and crypto acquisitions.
• Analyze PCAP data and IDS/IPS alerts; trace network-based attacks; support containment of live intrusions.
• Develop documents and briefings communicating work status to Government and industry as required.
• Coordinate with COTRs and developers to modify and maintain contract documentation.
• Review CDRL deliverables for content, accuracy, and sufficiency to meet requirements.
• Participate in program reviews and technical interchange meetings between developers and COTRs.
• Travel may be required up to once a month.
