Zusammenfassung

Anotech Energy is seeking a seasoned Safety Engineer to join the HSE Design team in France. The candidate will work with Process, Piping, Civil, and Instrumentation disciplines, reporting to the Safety Head and HSED Lead, ensuring safe design for people, environment, and assets.

Responsibilities include major accident event identification, conducting HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA reviews, SCE identification, fire protection design, and preparation of safety deliverables within budget and schedule

Qualifikationen

• Quality procedures and project procedures compliance.
• Master’s degree in Engineering (Safety or Process preferred).
• Knowledge of NFPA, API, IP safety codes & standards.
• 10 years experience in Safety Engineering in Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, or energy transition.
• Proficiency in English; French is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and standard engineering tools.
• Strong teamwork, communication, autonomy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to justify and defend design choices with clear reasoning.

Aufgaben

• Major Accident Event identification and qualification.
• Design and implementation of prevention, control, mitigation, and protection measures.
• Production of high-quality safety deliverables within project constraints (schedule, budget, contractual requirements).
• Participation in safety reviews: HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA.
• Plot plan reviews and 3D model reviews.
• Identification of Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) and criticality rating.
• Passive fire protection, cold spill protection.
• Active fire protection: firewater pump station design, firefighting network, deluge systems, hydraulic calculations.
• Flammable/toxic gas and fire detection design.
• Preparation of specifications, requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor follow-up for firefighting and personnel protection equipment.
• Preparation of replies to company comments and engineering queries.
• Identification of inconsistencies in Basis of Design.
• Attendance to project meetings as Safety representative.
• Proposal of technical and CAPEX optimizations.
• Review and supervision of deliverables produced by other engineers when required.
