Job summary

Aldebaran Group seeks a Process Safety Engineer to contribute to preventing industrial risks from early design through commissioning in the Paris region, with travel across Europe. You will work with project teams and safety managers to define preventive measures, conduct risk studies (HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA/SIL) and help specify SIS and emergency shutdown design.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial process safety; plus process engineering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies (HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA/SIL) and consequence analysis.
• Familiarity with SIS and safety project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Define process risk assessment strategy with project teams.
• Lead industrial risk assessment studies (HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA/SIL).
• Identify accident scenarios and recommend prevention measures.
• Contribute to Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) design and safety functions.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure safety throughout lifecycle.
