Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer / HAZOP-LOPA Leader in the Paris area to support major industrial and energy transition projects across Europe. The role is a 12-month renewable contract, on-site in France, with strong leadership expectations.

You will lead HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and SIL studies, shape process safety strategies, define SIS requirements, and perform risk assessments using tools like DNV PHAST, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in an international

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Process Safety experience.
• Proven experience leading HAZOP and LOPA workshops.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
• Experience with complex process industries (industrial gases, chemicals, hydrogen, energy, etc.).
• Fluent English with the ability to facilitate international workshops.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
