Process Safety Engineer

Job summary

XRbentsh is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to support an energy transition and oil & gas group in Paris, contributing from FEED onwards on production units and low carbon projects.

You will lead risk analyses, hazard reviews and QRA studies, collaborating with process, piping, civil and instrument disciplines to define robust protection and emergency concepts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of safety engineering experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical or energy transition sectors.
• FEED and detailed engineering experience on EPC projects.
• Hands-on use of PHAST, FLACS or equivalent consequence modelling tools; knowledge of API, NFPA, ISO 13702.
• Ability to chair safety reviews and defend technical choices.
• Professional English is essential.

We regularly recruit experienced Safety Engineers to work with a major energy and energy transition engineering group in Paris. You contribute from the FEED stage onwards on production units, including low carbon projects.

Your responsibilities
