Gama is seeking a senior software developer to lead architecture and implementation for a Rust-based mission-planning framework. You will own major architecture decisions and deliver production-grade code, from initial design to validated simulation models, in a high-precision environment.

You will work across the stack, including egui/bevy frontend components for trajectory visualization, and mentor junior engineers to raise the overall technical standard.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems programming in performance-critical languages (C/C++).
• 1+ year of hands-on Rust experience with ownership model and type system.
• End-to-end development experience delivering modular, maintainable software.
• Proficiency with Git or equivalent versioning system.
• Professional-level English; French a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and autonomy to own a significant part of the product.

Responsabilités

• Take end-to-end ownership of architecture, from blank sheet to production-grade code.
• Design, implement, and test core building blocks of Rust mission-planning software.
• Build high-performance simulation capabilities and models (orbital dynamics, environment models).
• Deliver robust, reliable code in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
• Contribute across the stack, including the 2D/3D trajectory visualization frontend (egui/bevy).
• Mentor junior engineers and act as the technical reference for software design practices.
