Gama is a NewSpace startup developing a next‑generation power system for commercial LEO satellites. Senior Embedded Electrical Engineer sought to define software architecture and develop MCU-based electronics powering the power system, coordinating subsystems from control loops to telemetry.

You will design, implement and validate embedded software and hardware, with autonomy in lab work and end‑to‑end ownership of subsystems, in a fast‑moving, international team at the heart of the European

Qualifications

• MSc degree or equivalent in electrical engineering / embedded systems.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in embedded control electronics.
• Embedded C or Rust for real-time control on DSP/MCU.
• Experience designing embedded software architectures for multi-subsystem systems.
• Strong MCU peripherals knowledge: ADC, PWM, timers, SPI, I2C, CAN, UART.
• Solid foundation in control theory and digital implementation.
• Good mixed-signal design: signal conditioning and protections.
• Lab autonomy with oscilloscopes, probes, debuggers and loads.
• Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude with curiosity.
• English proficiency; other languages welcome.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the embedded software architecture of the power system and interfaces with subsystems.
• Implement digital control on DSP/MCU platforms: control loops, measurements, MPPT.
• Develop BMS, telemetry and spacecraft communications functions.
• Design MCU-based electronics: MCU selection, schematics, peripherals, integration.
• Build, bring up and validate prototypes in the lab: testing and debugging.
