Tsuga, Paris-based startup, is seeking a Backend & Database Engineer to join the cluster team. You will design, build, and operate distributed backend systems, focusing on Rust and scalable data pipelines.

You will work with a senior team, managing Kubernetes clusters across customer cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and contribute to high-performance storage and real-time workloads. Hybrid, full-time role with international team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with DataFusion and columnar databases.
• Proven ability to handle data processing at scale with high performance.
• Proficient in Rust or C++ and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Vortex is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate distributed backend systems in Rust.
• Develop scalable data ingestion pipelines for large traffic and real-time workloads.
• Build and optimize columnar storage atop object storage for peta-byte data scales.
• Manage and orchestrate Kubernetes-based clusters across customer clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop tooling to provision, monitor, scale, and maintain managed clusters in real time.
