Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior R&D Packaging Engineer to lead packaging design and development for the Trauma and Extremities portfolio. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept through validation and product launch, including integrating acquisitions into packaging systems and creating prototypes for verification.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, 2+ years in packaging engineering or related fields, and strong English

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an engineering role, preferably packaging engineering or biomechanical testing.
• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering field.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design packaging and actively participate in cross-functional teams to advance projects from concept to launch.
• Integrate new products into Stryker's Trauma & Extremities packaging systems.
• Develop innovative packaging for new products aligned with user needs and development procedures.
• Develop prototypes for design verification and validation.
• Collaborate with clinical advisors to gather input on design and evaluation of packaging.
• Apply and manage design controls and write technical reports.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional design teams to address packaging challenges and maintain existing packaging.
