Stryker is seeking a Senior R&D Packaging Engineer to develop innovative packaging for the Trauma and Extremities portfolio. The role is hybrid, with on‑site requirements at Montbonnot-Saint-Martin (France) or Cork, Ireland, and an 18‑month fixed‑term contract.

You will lead cross‑functional teams through packaging design, development, and product launch, delivering solutions that meet regulatory requirements and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, mechanical/biomechanical engineering, quality management, or manufacturing engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in packaging engineering or biomechanical laboratory testing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives from concept through release.
• Business‑level fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Design packaging and actively participate in cross‑functional teams to advance projects from concept to product launch.
• Lead or contribute to packaging design, development, and validation activities.
• Integrate new products into Trauma & Extremities packaging systems.
• Develop innovative packaging solutions aligned with user needs and procedures.
• Develop prototypes for design verification and validation.
• Collaborate with clinical advisors to gather design input and evaluation feedback.
• Apply and manage design controls; write technical reports.
• Manage project plans and timelines following design control guidelines.
