Jobgether SRL in France is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer for a remote-first, async team. You will own core product surfaces from concept through production, turning ideas into production-ready frontend components with strong accessibility and performance.

The role sits at the crossroads of design, frontend engineering, and the design system, with involvement in open-source primitives and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a product designer who evolved into design engineering with ownership of complex product areas.
• Exceptional product design craft combined with strong frontend engineering skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
• Ability to independently turn product and design concepts into polished, working implementations.
• Experience designing and engineering custom UI components and primitives, not just consuming third-party libraries.
• Deep expertise in headless primitive composition; open-source component systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own core product surfaces from concept through production, including booking flows, scheduling primitives, and enterprise experiences.
• Translate product problems into high-quality designs, prototypes, and production-ready frontend components.
• Build and test prototypes using AI-assisted development tools to answer design questions quickly.
• Deliver components production-ready for engineers with complete interaction states and accessibility.
• Maintain and evolve the shared component library and ensure design-system consistency.
