Laka, a remote-first insurance company for cyclists, is seeking a pricing leader to own pricing across five markets in the UK and Europe. You will work closely with the Commercial and Engineering teams to deliver impactful pricing strategies that balance growth and profitability.

You will develop pricing models (GLMs/GBMs in Python) and collaborate with insurers on stop-loss and capacity terms, while mentoring an Pricing Analyst and expanding the pricing stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in insurance pricing.
• Experience pricing for D2C and partner/B2B models is ideal.
• Pricing models in code: GLMs and GBMs in Python, with SQL.
• Strong commercial mindset balancing growth, retention and profitability.
• Able to explain technical work to partners and leadership.
• Experience mentoring an analyst and hands-on involvement.

Responsabilités

• Define and deliver pricing for our Collective in UK and Europe: caps, rating factors, fees.
• Price partner business and support Commercial team on deals and renewals.
• Prepare rate reviews and pricing proposals for our insurers and stop-loss terms.
• Develop pricing stack, tools and processes with Engineering and Data.
• Manage and develop Pricing Analyst and ensure timely execution.
