Job summary

Dalma is a fast growing pet health insurer for dogs and cats in Europe. We are building out our Insurance team and hiring a Machine Learning Lead to own the advanced modeling layer.

You will operate at the intersection of data, product and insurance, with direct impact on growth and retention across France and Germany. You will join the Insurance team and report directly to our Chief Insurance Officer (CIO).

Qualifications

• At least three years in ML/Data science with end-to-end model ownership.
• Strong statistical modeling and ML skills (logistic regression, survival models, clustering, etc.).
• Fluent English; French or German a plus.
• Python proficient; SQL fluent; comfortable with a BI tool.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy models to optimise pricing from actuarial data and conversion metrics.
• Extend ML scope to churn prediction, claims prioritisation, fraud detection over time.
• Collaborate with actuary, product and tech teams to productionise models and monitor performance.
