Job summary

Scality is seeking an experienced Sysadmin/DevSecOps engineer to own, maintain, and evolve the ARTESCA platform. You will work within a collaborative team in Paris, balancing on‑premises and cloud deployments to ensure cyber resilience and zero‑trust backup capabilities at scale.

You will contribute to the Kubernetes control plane, improve security tooling, and participate in CI/CD enhancements, documenting processes and ensuring high availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Sysadmin / DevSecOps.
• Fluent French speaker; good level of English for day‑to‑day work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the platform behind ARTESCA: the OS and Kubernetes control plane, workers, add‑ons, and solutions that underpin ARTESCA in its deployment options.
• Harden security and compliance with CIS benchmarks, SBOM, and supply‑chain tooling.
• Contribute to installer and product workflows, multi‑node/HA deployment, pre‑checks, and cloud/vendor integrations (AWS, VmWare).
• Own upgrades and lifecycle: Kubernetes versions, Helm charts, operators, and base images.
• Write and maintain documentation and tests to keep ARTESCA scalable and recovery‑ready.
