Job summary

H Company seeks a Lead Observability Engineer to own the strategy, design the stack, and drive adoption across teams. You will shape how we measure and surface visibility across the entire system, partnering with product, infrastructure and research to quantify progress.

This hands-on leadership role requires prior experience building production instrumentation, defining SLAs/SLOs, and guiding teams through scalable instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Define and own a cohesive observability strategy.
• Lead production instrumentation and telemetry integrations.
• Define product and technical SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
• Drive end-to-end visibility of system dependencies and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Set one observability strategy across teams and stacks.
• Own metrics, logs, traces, alerts and dashboards implementations.
• Define SLAs, SLOs, SLIs with product, research and infra teams.
• Build end-to-end visibility of dependencies for users and agents.
• Automate coverage, reliability, alert quality and execution cost.
