Job summary

Verkor seeks a Mixing Senior Engineer for its Process Team at the Dunkirk gigafactory in France. You will own the mixing process in mass production, interfacing with product engineering to optimize electrode mixing and drive automation initiatives to reduce costs.

Ideal candidates bring a MS in engineering, 8+ years in mixing processes, and strong skills in Python, MATLAB, and Minitab for data analysis and process optimization.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
• Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and battery manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support SOP and ramp-up activities in the mixing process.
• Collaborate with the product engineering team to optimize the electrode mixing design.
• Improve mixing by increasing process automation to reduce CAPEX and OPEX.
• Test and validate state-of-the-art technologies for mixing processes.
• Perform root cause investigations into defects in the mixing process.
