Verkor is seeking a Mixing Senior Engineer for its Dunkirk gigafactory. You will own electrode mixing processes in mass production and support SOP and ramp-up activities.

You will collaborate with product engineering to optimize mixing, advance automation, test new tech, and drive root cause investigations to improve quality and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with mixing processes in manufacturing.
• Experience in battery manufacturing is required.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

We now focus on enabling the successful start of production of our Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is to ramp-up mass production of low carbon lithium ion batteries to facilitate the decarbonization of European mobility.

We have an exciting opportunity as Mixing Senior Engineer in our Process Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the process of mixing in mass-production environment.

As such, you are responsible for the systems related to Electrode processes at our gigafactory in Dunkirk, France. You will have the opportunity to participate in the launching of our gigafactory and its ramp-up!

Responsibilities

• Support the teams during SOP and ramp-up activities.
• Collaborating with the product engineering team to optimize the mixing process for the electrode design.
• Improving mixing by increasing the level of process automation, which will save capital and operating costs.
• Testing and validating state-of-the-art technologies for use in the mixing process.
• During operation, you will complete root cause investigations into defects in the mixing process.

Requirements - Qualifications and skills

• M.S. in Chemical/Mechanical/ElectricalEngineering or similar discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working with mixing process.
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience in battery manufacturing
• Strong statistical and data analysis skills with tools e.g. Python, Matlab, and Minitab.
