Job summary

Verkor in Bourbourg, Hauts-de-France, seeks a senior Process Engineer to support SOP and ramp-up activities in a battery manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with product engineering to optimize electrode mixing and drive automation to reduce costs.

You will test new technologies and perform root cause investigations of mixing defects. Required: MS in an engineering discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience, with strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Python, Matlab, and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with mixing processes in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in battery manufacturing is required.

Bourbourg, Hauts-de-France Process Engineering CDI / Permanent position

Responsibilities

• Support the teams during SOP and ramp-up activities.
• Collaborating with the product engineering team to optimize the mixing process for the electrode design.
• Improving mixing by increasing the level of process automation, which will save capital and operating costs.
• Testing and validating state-of-the-art technologies for use in the mixing process.
• During operation, you will complete root cause investigations into defects in the mixing process.

Requirements - Qualifications and skills

• M.S. in Chemical/Mechanical/ElectricalEngineering or similar discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working with mixing process.
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience in battery manufacturing
• Strong statistical and data analysis skills with tools e.g. Python, Matlab, and Minitab.
