Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Cost Manager MEP in France to lead cost control, budgeting, and value engineering on major projects. You will analyse reports, model costs, and guide senior management through financial planning.

The role requires deep understanding of MEP systems, a relevant degree and ideally RICS chartering; you will own priorities, communicate clearly, and drive cost certainty across project portfolios.

Qualifications

• Experienced in cost management, preferably on large projects.
• Understanding of MEP systems and ability to read services drawings.
• RICS chartered or on track to complete it.
• Degree in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse cost reports and review with senior management
• Budget preparation with detailed cost modelling and benchmarking
• Manage project costs against budget including cost reviews, value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
• Monitor financial close-out on projects including vendor settlements
• Oversee commercial change management and change evaluation
• Oversee RFPs through procurement for project services and products
• Lead commercial risk management efforts
• Review analytics for project portfolio cash flow and earned value analysis.
