Emeya Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior MEP Design & Engineering Project Manager to lead design and engineering activities for data centre projects in Paris and across the French market.

The role requires an established senior professional with extensive experience in MEP design, engineering management, and multidisciplinary team leadership, particularly in mechanical building services and critical infrastructure. Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• Extensive experience managing engineering and design activities on large, technically complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services including HVAC and chilled-water systems.
• Broad understanding of electrical systems and wider MEP infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning.
• Ability to challenge consultants and contractors at senior level.
• Excellent communication, leadership and client-facing skills.
• Strong programme, commercial and risk awareness.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate MEP design and engineering activities across multiple projects.
• Provide senior technical oversight of mechanical systems and critical infrastructure.
• Manage the design process from concept and detailed design through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Review technical designs, specifications, drawings and calculations.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvement, risk reduction and value engineering.
• Manage interfaces between Mechanical, Electrical, CSA, Controls and Commissioning.
• Coordinate external consultants, designers, contractors and specialist suppliers.
• Ensure deliverables meet programme, quality and technical requirements.
• Identify design risks and potential programme impacts early.
