School District No. 22 (Vernon) in Vernon, BC, is seeking a Manager of Child Care. The role requires a diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related degree, an ECE certificate, and 5+ years in early childhood education or school-age childcare.

Strong licensing knowledge and staff leadership are essential. Reporting to the District Principal of Early Learning & Child Care, you will manage Child Care Programs, support strategic goals, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

• A diploma in Early Childhood Education or a degree in a related field
• Specialized ECE certificate (including ITE or SNE)
• Current registration with the BC Early Learning Childhood Educators if ECE qualified
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in early childhood education and/or school-age childcare
• Experience in a K-12 education setting
• Experience in managing child care centres
• Experience with licensing agencies and reporting requirements (CCOF/CCFRI/ACCB/MCCB)

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned Child Care Programs
• Support the goals of the SD22 Strategic Plan and BC frameworks through effective leadership and communication
