Guardian Jobs in Hayes is seeking a Lecturer/Assessor to train and assess Work Based Learning (WBL) learners, including Apprentices, to determine their occupational competencies within the workplace. You would teach on Level 2 to Level 3 Early Years qualifications and monitor learners’ progress across their study programmes.

Current courses include NCFE Level 1 Diploma in Caring for Children, NCFE Level 2 Diploma Technical Occupational Entry for the Early Years Practitioner and T Levels Early

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ/VRQ in Early Years/Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
• Assessor qualification (L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent).
• Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector or willingness to obtain.
• Teaching and assessing experience in Early Years.
• Minimum of 3 years’ recent Early Years/Education and Care experience.

Responsabilités

• Train and assess Work Based Learning (WBL) learners including Apprentices in the workplace.
• Teach on Level 2–Level 3 Early Years qualifications and monitor learner progress.
• Safeguarding responsibility and adherence to college policies.

Our Early Years team, based at Hayes Campus, offers high quality provision and up-to-date expertise with a strong focus on student achievement and excellent links with local employers, for both full time and work-based learning.
We are seeking a Lecturer/Assessor to train and assess Work Based Learning (WBL) learners, including Apprentices to determine their occupational competencies within the workplace.
You would also teach on qualifications from Level 2 to Level 3 in the Early Years sector and monitor learners' progress across their study programmes.

Current courses on offer for full time students

• NCFE Level 1 Diploma in Caring for children
• NCFE Level 2 Diploma Technical Occupational Entry for the Early Years Practitioner
• T Levels Early Years Educator including the Assisted Teaching Pathway.

Apprenticeships courses within the section currently include

• NCFE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
• NCFE Level 3 Early Years Educator Standards Apprenticeship
• NCFE Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standards Apprenticeship

We are seeking someone with the following

• Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/VRQ qualification in Early Years/Teaching Assistant (preferably a degree in the relevant subject)
• Assessor qualification (L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent)
• Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, or willingness and ability to obtain qualification, supported by the College
• Teaching and assessing experience in Early Years
• Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience of working in Early Years, both Education and Care
