Job summary
Carter & White in Cannes is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Advisor to lead a luxury retail team. You will drive sales, mentor staff, and implement strategies that boost profitability while delivering a first‑class customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in retail with a managerial or supervisory role, strong knowledge of operations, inventory control and visual merchandising, and fluency in French (English/Arabic a plus).
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in retail with a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and visual merchandising.
- Fluency in French; English and Arabic preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team to increase sales and store efficiency.
- Manage stock levels and stock control decisions.
- Analyze sales figures and forecast future volumes to maximize profits.
- Record sales data and support forward planning using IT systems.
- Respond to customer complaints and comments.
- Organize promotions, displays and events.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activity.
- Hire, train and develop staff; conduct appraisals and performance reviews.
- Ensure quality, customer service and health & safety standards.
- Revise and implement store policies to improve operations.
